Free iPod [27 Mar 2006|09:51am]

Hey guys. So I don't usually do this, but this is pretty cool. I talked to my friend James today, and he showed me this site, http://ipods.freepay.com/?r=28893614, where you can get a free iPod. All you have to do is register for one of the free available services, refer five other people, and you'll get a free ipod nano or ipod video. The reason I know it's for real is because he registered a month and a half ago, and he recieved an ipod video yesterday.

I know, it sounds like a scam. So I did some research, and I found this two articles: http://www.geek.com/news/geeknews/2004Aug/gee20040819026544.htm and http://www3.netmart.com/free-ipod.htm. Both of the articles say that this particular site has been around for a while, and actually is legit.

If you guys do decided to get one, it's pretty easy. Just register on the site, then choose one of the offered free trials (I would personally suggest the RealArcade trial, because Real/RealPlayer is an authentic and reliable company/program. Not only is it free, but I immediately ended my trial after beginning it). After that, just get five other people to register and you should get an iPod.

Have a good day guys.

FREE HIP HOP, SOUL, JAZZ, FUNK MP3S ANYONE? [14 Nov 2005|04:08am]

Thought you guys might be interested that I'm turning my journal into a mp3 blog w/ posts on a semi-daily basis. Genres featured will mostly be hip hop, jazz, funk, R&B, and soul. Sometimes rock, spoken word, blues, and early 20s Black music will be featured as well. Also, once a week, I'll post a hip hop video from the 80s and 90s since I have a large collection of them.

You can check out my last three posts and see if the music suits you. Remember that each posts will contain *at least* mp3s in soul, jazz, funk and hip hop. More to come. Enjoy, share, and spread the word.

Leave feedback to let me know what you would like to see more of too. Requests are welcome.

Fatlip (from the Pharcyde) came out with a new album last tuesday called "The Loneliest Punk." Anyone here a fan of the Pharcyde? This album is tight!! It has Chali Tuna from Jurassic 5 and Spike Jonez did a documentary called "What's Up Fatlip?" - which is HILARIOUS! I've been into Fatlip and Delicious Vinyl for a while now and this album is awesome!. Check out itunes and this.

Hey guys! you may remember similar posts that look a lot like this one. I am writing to inform you that my new CD is out! Unlike the first, this album strongly reflects my music style. The CD is titled, "My Famous Year." You can check out song samples from the CD on my website, www.alexwatsonmusic.com  If you're in to acoustic/rock music then you will throughly enjoy this album. for a full length album,  it is being sold for a very cheap price. and you can also get both cd's and a sticker for a great deal. I hope that you get the time to swing by the site and check it out. Thank you guys for all of your support!
